Discovery Days Committee,

Thank you so much for your patience. Change always presents fresh challenges, and these last few days we have tried to navigate them in the wisest way possible. Earlier this week we met with our State Licensing Agent, and we feel confident about our plan moving forward.

Before we share specifics, we just want to communicate our appreciation for the incredible job our outgoing teachers and Director did investing in our Discovery Days Program. They were a huge part of your children's lives and the success we've all witnessed. Many of you have shared with us your appreciation for them and all they've done to love your family well.

Please continue to reach out to them, and provide encouragement as opportunties arise. We wish each of them the best in their next chapter of life.

As for those of us still involved in Discovery Days, we have tried to rebuild in a short amount of time. We have made significant progress in hiring new teachers and we anticipate being able to resume fully functioning in the near future.

But to ensure we have the smoothest start possible given the circumstances, we are going to postpone the start of our Pre-K class one week, until August 14th. By that time we expect to resume operating at full strength. 

For those of you with children younger than Pre-K, we look forward to seeing you on August 7th during our regular drop-off window from 7:30am to 8:30 am.

If you have children in Pre-K, we understand this likely comes as disappointing news. But please allow us this short window of time to arrange for the best long-term experience for your children.
